I should probably just rename this blog project "The Adventures of A and E."
I have a love/hate relationship with winter. We are stuck inside the house far too often for my liking, but at the same time snow and hot chocolate make me really happy. We had a few typical days in the house last weekend. We didn't really need to go anywhere. So, we played. There may have been a fight or two, but all in all we had a good time putting up our Christmas decorations and building couch forts. I should probably just rename this blog project "The Adventures of A and E." We started off with a little peek-a-boo in the pantry. Shortly after this picture A came out with a red gumball and it resulted in a wardrobe change. He came thisclose to getting it on the couch. I nearly had a heart attack. So, a quick wardrobe change and we were back to new. Playing with choo choo tracks is always a good time. Especially when E wants to join in. But when your sister whacks you over the head with your favorite toy it's really devastating. He couldn't be mad at her too long. I mean look at those great big eyeballs staring back at him! "Melmo" ice pack to the rescue. All better. I bought this tree for E's room, but the kids like it in the living room. So, it is there in place of our big tree this year. My great grandma made the tree skirt. I love all things old, handmade, and with a story behind it. We now have a nightly tradition of couch forts because they are just THAT cool!
